I have been listening to this group all week, and wow.. they are damn good.
Thanks to
ankh_f_n_khonsu for posting two of their videos in his journal.
I agree that these two do seem to be their coolest videos:
Slam:
The Other Side:
both are extremely catchy tunes that have been getting stuck in my head a lot. But Pendulum seems to also have an aweful lot of other great stuff too:
Blood Sugar:

Voodoo People, Pendulum remix (I don't think it quite lives up to the original(*), but the video is teh awesome):

I've always enjoyed drum and bass, but never heard stuff quite this good before. It's always seemed like one of those genres that is really neat but there is so much copying from one group to the next that it all ends up sounding kind of similar. Not the case for Pendulum, although I'm sure they are already being copied like mad.
(*) Prodigy you'll notice is listed in my profile as one of my 13 very exclusive very select "favorite bands" of all time. Voodoo People I fondly remember as my very first exposure to them... I came home from seeing Hackers in the theater in 1995 and went out and bought the soundtrack all excited about how good the music in it had been. To my dismay, upon getting home and throwing it in the CD player I realized that the entire CD was pretty much complete crap except for Voodoo People and one other song (Underworld's Cowgirl). I think Voodoo People had stuck in my head so much after watching it, I had forgotten the whole rest of the movie.
