I own the domain name spoonless.net.

I purchased it at the dawn of the 21st century, about a year after the Wachowski Sisters released the generation-defining film The Matrix (the only movie besides Titanic I've ever gone to see 3 times in the theater when it came out). But several years before I fully consciously realized the film was about the social construction of gender, and long before either of them came out as transgender. I still own the domain, and still use spoonless as a username in many places, but my original purpose of owning it (to be able to easily access my Linux server from anywhere on the net, and to have a custom email address, has been made obsolete by a combination of cloud technology and gmail--the Internet has transformed significantly since 2000, making it pointless for me to run a desktop server at home any more, for email or any other purpose).

Lana Wachowski transitioned in 2008 and made her first public appearance in 2012. Lilly came out in 2016. I came out in 2017, and have recently begun transitioning.
