I've been meaning to post this for a while, but just never got around to it. Recently, I was walking out of a restaurant and someone in the restaurant behind me went "oh my god, was that George Michael?" Someone in my entourage pointed this out to me, saying he thought they were talking about me. "Huh? Do I look like George Michael? What does George Michael look like anyway?!" He assured me that I looked nothing like him, and it was probably just my dangly earrings [I usually wear either my π earrings (one in each ear for a total of 2π per revolution) or on the days where I'm feeling less mathematical I wear my atomic earrings which feature a stylish portrayal of the Bohr model of the atom on each--on this particular day I believe it was the π's]. However, when I got home I couldn't help but look up on images.google what George Michael looks like... to my surprise, one of his pictures actually looks pretty damn close... although this picture of him also reminds me of [livejournal.com profile] go4thnx, maybe if you merged the two of us together into some sort of super-George hybrid breed. Oddly, more recent pictures of him look nothing like me so maybe it's just something about the expression or the pose.

[Update: So, I originally made this post saying "Michael Bolton" instead of George Michael. That was a complete last minute fuckup on my part, I guess I mixed up their names. After getting a couple comments about it, I just went back and editted it to say George Michael... which is who I meant in the first place, and whose actual picture is there. I just don't know either of their music at all, and their names sound similar to me. At any rate, sorry for the confusion!]
