I find that I tend to agree with them both, although a lot more precisely with what Sean says. What Sam says seems right on the surface, but I think it's only true in a very narrow context and he's missing the big picture. I feel like if Sam Harris explored his view further he'd realize that it breaks down in a lot of situations, and ultimately you have to found ethics on subjective things like desires and feelings. There's just no other way to do it I can see.
