You're right. I knew there were some court settlements, one being around the same time, but I had assumed since they publicly unveiled Premiere on March 2nd and the main surge happened on March 4th, they were related. But the court settlement happened on March 4th itself, and apparently most of the surge happened within an hour after the judge announced the decision.
I should have known that markets react far more quickly than a 2 day delay. At any rate, I feel a bit silly for selling it (since part of my reasoning was "this is just hype") but on the other hand I've kind of wanted to get rid of that stock for a long time and this was a nice excuse to drop it. It's just too volatile for a retirement portfolio.
